B. Google Account and Sheets Data
Through Google OAuth, we may access:
- Personal Information - We collect email address from users through Google account and sign in services.
- Google Sheets content related to your store's functionality & operation.
We only request the minimum access required for functionality.
C. Automatically Collected Technical Data
We may collect:
- Log data: When you use Kommercly, our servers record information ("log data"), including information that your browser automatically sends whenever you visit a website.
- Geolocation data: Depending on your device and app settings, we collect geolocation data when you use our apps or online services. For example, we may infer your general geographic location (such as city, state, and country) based on your IP address.
Used solely for service improvement and security.
How We Use the Information
We use collected data to:
- Display and manage store and product information
- Record and process customer interactions and orders
- Synchronize and update your Google Sheets & Website
- Improve platform performance and functionality
- Provide user support and security monitoring
We do not use this data for advertising or LLM training.
Where Data Is Stored
Your data may be stored in:
- Your own Google Sheets (primary data storage)
- Kommercly secure backend servers for syncing, backup, and operational features
We use commercially reasonable security measures such as encrypted transmission, access control, and regular monitoring.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We rely on the underlying cloud platform ie Google Cloud Platform to provide security to your information.
- We use third-party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze information. We use methods to record usage analytics on our add-on for quality-improvement purposes.
- Kommercly requests permission to access only the specific Google Drive files you use with this service, these access rights are required to allow actions performed by the end user. The textual contents of users' Drive files are NEVER transmitted to any 3rd party services outside of the user's direct control or knowledge.
No unauthorized third parties receive your business or customer data.
Important Message
- Anyone with whom the user shares the spreadsheet will be able to see the data.
- Nobody outside the user's domain will ever get access to the user data through the add-on.
Your Rights & Choices
Our goal is to give you simple and meaningful choices regarding your information. You have the right to:
- View and update your store data
- Revoke Google access anytime in your Google Account permissions
- Request backup & deletion of your data from our backend systems
